New Cadets Participate in ACL Research Study New cadet Pat Cronin jumps, while wearing sensors at various body sites, from a box onto a force plate during research testing today in Bartlett Hall. Dr. Michelle Boling (seated at left) and Dr. Lindsay DiStefano are researchers using West Point cadets for a study on anterior cruciate ligament injuries and prevention. The six-year study tracks selected cadets at all service academies to identify common physiological causes for ACL tears. Cronin and other members of the Class of 2013 are the last group of cadets participating in the study. (Photo by Master Sgt. Dean Welch/DComm) Flickr photos
