WEST POINT, N.Y. –The West Point Cadet Chapel will celebrate its centennial during a ceremony on June 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
The ceremony will begin outside Bartlett Hall with opening remarks by the West Point leadership followed by a march to the chapel, recreating the original march in 1910. Transportation will be provided for those unable to participate in the march.
There will be a cake presentation by Buddy Valastro and his staff from The Learning Channel show “Cake Boss” under a tent in the chapel parking lot.
Attendees should enter through Thayer Gate, park in Buffalo Soldier Field and take a specially marked shuttle. Proper identification will be required upon entering academy grounds and all vehicles are subject to search.
