THADDEUS KOSCIUSZKO CEREMONY — April 28, 2009

WEST POINT, N.Y. — West Point will host the annual Thaddeus Kosciuszko Memorial Ceremony at the Kosciuszko Monument on Saturday, May 2, at 1 p.m.

The Ceremony will honor the Polish patriot Thaddeus Kosciuszko and the contributions he made to West Point and the American Revolutionary War effort. 

The guest speaker for the event is Lt. Col. Matthew Pawlikowski, Catholic community chaplain at West Point.

The public is cordially invited to attend a Mass in Polish at the Most Holy Trinity Church on West Point at 9:45 a.m.  Following the mass, a cadet review is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on The Plain. 

Attendees should enter through Thayer or Stony Lonesome gates.  Photo identification for those 16 years and older will be required upon entering academy grounds, and all vehicles are subject to search.
