ARMY-NAVY SPIRIT ACTIVITIES AT WEST POINT – Dec. 4, 2009
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The public is invited to join in the festivities as the Black Knights prepare to battle the Navy Midshipmen during the 110th Army-Navy game on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
Several spirit activities are planned for the week preceding the game:
Wednesday, Dec. 9
Women’s Goat-Engineer Flag Football Game, 5 p.m., Michie Stadium
Men’s Goat-Engineer Flag Football Game, 6:30 p.m., Michie Stadium
Thursday, Dec. 10
Bonfire/Pep Rally, 6:30 p.m., Daly Field
*Spirit Rally for the football team with lighting of a traditional bonfire –
*Departure of marathon team with game ball – remarks by team captains
*Official send-off of the football team.
The public is invited to attend any or all of the scheduled events. Guests may enter West Point through Thayer or Stony Lonesome gates and are reminded that valid photo identification is required for those 16 years or older upon entrance to the academy.
