Military Personnel Division

Mission Statement: To plan, administer, and supervise military personnel service support, which includes officer and enlisted strength management for the West Point Garrison (WPG). To manage Soldier programs and provide direct military personnel service to all assigned, tenant, and attached units at West Point. To provide retirement, separation, personnel processing, records management, and casualty assistance reporting services. To advise the West Point military community on all matters pertaining to the Military Personnel Division's activities in support of the United States Army Garrison West Point and the United States Military Academy missions.

In-Processing Procedures

USMA Staff & Faculty/US Army Garrison: Personnel newly assigned to the Staff and Faculty or US Army Garrison at West Point will report to the Military Personnel Division (Bldg. 622), during duty hours, 0745-1600 to sign in. During non-duty hours all Soldiers will report to the Military Police (Bldg. 616) to sign in. All Soldiers must have a copy of their PCS orders and original DA Form 31, (Leave Request), Medical and Dental Records and 201 file. In the event of an emergency call (845) 938-8484/8490 during duty hours and (845) 938-3312 during non-duty hours.

USMA BAND: Newly assigned personnel with the USMA Band will report to Egner Hall (Bldg 685) upon arrival to West Point. All Soldiers must have a copy of their PCS orders and original DA Form 31 (Leave Request). All Soldiers arriving after duty hours must follow the following procedure:

1. Call the band headquarters at (845) 938-2445 to access the SDNCO message machine.

2. The message will include the emergency contact phone number for that day's SDNCO.

3. Call the SDNCO at the emergency telephone number to check in and receive further instructions.

DENTAC: All personnel assigned to the USA DENTAC will report to Saunders Dental Clinic (Bldg. 606) upon arrival at West Point. All Soldiers must have a copy of their PCS orders and original DA Form 31 (Leave Request). Soldiers arriving after duty hours must call (845) 938-7761. In the event of an emergency please call the Military Police (845) 938-3333.

MEDDAC: All personnel assigned to the USA MEDDAC will report to Keller Army Hospital (Bldg. 900), Room 2E2, upon arrival at West Point. All Soldiers must have a copy of their PCS orders and original DA Form 31 (Leave Request). Soldiers arriving after duty hours or on weekends must report to Bldg. 900, AOD Desk, main lobby of the hospital. All Soldiers will report prior to 2100 hrs or call (845) 938-5169. WTU: All personnel assigned to the Warrior Transition Unit will report to the WTU Offices (Bldg. 626), 2nd Floor, upon arrival at West Point. All Soldiers must have a copy of their TCS/MRP orders and original DA Form 31 (Leave Request). Soldiers arriving after duty hours or on weekends must report to Bldg. 624, CQ Desk, WTU Barracks.
