Once you have been admitted to West Point, you may want more than just a few hours on the West Point campus. If you are looking for a more in-depth experience, then consider scheduling a visit that involves an overnight stay.
Overnight Visit
West Point cadets enjoy welcoming students to campus and often share many interests with them. Scheduling a visit with an overnight stay on campus is a great way to observe the cadet experience for 24+ hours. You will see what daily life is like by:
An overnight visit is available to applicants (candidates) who have received an Offer of Admission, a Letter of Assurance or a Letter of Encouragement that they will most likely be offered admission.
You can schedule an overnight visit Monday through Friday during the academic term. Your program will begin at 8:45 a.m. and conclude around 1:00 p.m. the following day. Just request a visit either online or by calling (845) 938 -5760 between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Summer Leaders Experience
If you are a high school junior, consider applying to this week-long summer leadership program. You will live on campus, take academic classes and get a taste of the military, sports and recreational activities here. Just be sure that you apply before April 1 of your junior year.
