- Dr. Kowalski's research involves the characterization of metabolic fingerprints in Escherichia coli K12 (E. coli) and Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis) after exposure to chemical contamination. These studies will result in new detection architecture for monitoring an environmental chemical threat.
