Department of Chemistry and Life Science : Science Center

Bartlett Hall Science Center 
Construction on the newly renovated north wing of the Bartlett Hall Science Center (former Cadet Library) was completed last year and the building was officially unveiled on 4 May.  The Dean of the Academic Board, Brigadier General Timothy Trainor and Head of the Department of Chemistry and Life Science Colonel Leon Robert spoke at the event and recognized team members that played vital roles in reaching this landmark.
 
Now that the north wing of the Science Center is complete, the department has begun conducting classes and labs in the new wing and renovations are beginning on Bartlett Hall’s east, south and eventually west wings from 2012 to late 2015.
 
 
The newly renovated Science Center has several exciting features including the combination of some classrooms and laboratories into a single space (“classatories”) allowing students more hands on opportunities in class. The new Center also features windows in to laboratories and display cases in the halls to make the study of the sciences more visible to the cadets.
