The West Point Center for the Rule of Law hosts and participates in conferences each year to encourage examination and discussion of important legal issues.

As the premiere institution in the world for academic excellence and military leadership, West Point is an ideal setting and partner.

We bring together the brightest minds in academia, business, government, media, and philanthropy. We choose challenging topics that are of current interest both domestically and internationally. The Center for the Rule of Law also participates in conferences with law schools and other organizations committed to furthering understanding of the rule of law.

Keynote Speaker

Her Majesty Queen Noor

Her Majesty Queen Noor provided the keynote address at the dinner session. The theme of Queen Noor's presentation was the necessity of global cooperation and cross-cultural understanding. An important aspect to achieving this is to emphasize development in the roles that women play in their respective cultures. By empowering women economically, socially and politically, real progress can be made in bettering the quality of life around the world.

Point to Point

Point to Point Cadets visited the slums of West Point, Liberia in an effort to study the impact of that country's violent civil war, and the efforts to rebuild its rule of law.
