USMAPS Class of 2011 Arrives for Basic Training

ABOUT USMAPS WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Each year the Army Women's Basketball Program sends recruits to USMAPS to participate in a one year developmental program.  At West Point Prep, recruits learn and understand concepts of the college game and improve basketball fundamentals under Head Coach Brendan Copes.

Student-athletes also enhance their strength, speed, and agility through a rigorous off-season conditioning program.  Our recruits compete in a 20+ game schedule against the nation’s top junior colleges, prep schools, and club teams before entering West Point and playing Division 1 basketball for Head Coach, Dave Magarity.

Current West Point Varsity players Jessie Coiffard, Elizabeth Benedict, Kimby Martin, Alison Grapevine, Megan Maurer, and Karleen Paulin are all former “Prepsters”.
