Geography and Environmental Engineering (GEnE)

Geography and Environmental Engineering (GEnE)

The mission of the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering is to enhance the intellectual, character, and military development of all Cadets within the context of a core course in physical geography, a three-course engineering sequence, four distinct majors, and a diverse offering of elective courses all while supporting the continued development of faculty and staff.

Research Centers for Academic Excellence

In the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering, interdisciplinary research is facilitated, supported, and championed through three distinct research centers for academic excellence:

Our Centers cultivate and value partnerships and collaborations that connect our intellectual capital with key leaders and subject matter experts throughout the Department of Defense, academia, industry, and the public and private sector, while addressing the most important and complex challenges facing our Army, Nation, and world.  Let us know if you are interested in partnering or collaborating on future projects or events.
