
CPT Brian Teachout graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2015 with a B.S. in Computer Science and commissioned as a Signal Officer. His first unit was the 16th Sustainment Brigade in Baumholder, Germany where he served in the Special Troops Battalion operations and supply offices, then as a platoon leader in the 504th Brigade Signal Company. He then moved to the 30th Medical Brigade to be the 421st Medical Battalion S-6. In 2019, he transferred to Functional Area 26A: Network Systems Engineering and moved to Charlottesville, Virginia to work as a cyber analyst in the Science and Technology directorate of the National Ground Intelligence Center. He then obtained his M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech before arriving at West Point, where he currently instructs in the EECS department.
