The West Point Climbing Team seeks to contribute to its members' development as cadets and future officers by instilling the values of grit, humility, and family. The climbing team builds competitiveness and demonstrates excellence in regular competitions with other service academies and at the collegiate level. It also fosters a strong culture of trust as climbing is dangerous, and high standards must be set and maintained daily.
