French Forum

The West Point French Forum is composed of Francophile and Francophone Cadets of all fluency levels with the aim of cultivating and promoting the French language and Francophone cultures at West Point. The Forum offers Cadets the opportunity to participate in film nights, conversation tables, and cultural meals throughout the academic year. Additionally, we take advantage of our nearest francophone neighbors with trips to Montreal and Quebec in order to offer immersion experiences to participants. The French Forum is proud of USMA’s long-standing partnership with St. Cyr and it is with great pleasure that we integrate them into our membership. In fact, West Point is one of only two foreign institutions ever to receive the National Order of the Legion d’Honneur, France’s highest civilian decoration, founded by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, to recognize eminent service to the Republic of France.
