The Mission

The United States Corps of Cadets Pipes & Drums provides world class musical support to the United States Corps of Cadets and the United States Military Academy in order to motivate, support, and inspire the Corps of Cadets, to instill in our forces the will to fight and win, to foster the support of our citizens, and to promote our national interests at home and abroad. In order to pursue excellence, the band will compete and win in competitions around the country.The United States Corps of Cadets Pipes & Drums will provide instruction in bagpiping, drumming, and Celtic dance to all interested Cadets in order to develop their skills in the personal and professional realm.   

General Overview

The United States Corps of Cadets Pipes & Drums is a bagpipe and drum ensemble consisting of members of the United States Corps of Cadets. The band supports Corps of Cadets and Army activities year round and is the only active duty Pipe and Drum corps in the United States Army. In addition to this, the band also competes as a member of the Eastern United States Bagpipe Association (EUSPBA) as a Grade V Band. Band membership is open to all Cadets of the United States Military Academy, no prior skill in piping or drumming is required.

7 December – Army v. Navy Piping Competition
8 December – Army v. Navy
28 April 2019 – USMA Tattoo at Trophy Point
