Army West Point Triathlon works hard in Arizona during their annual Spring Break Training Trip.

The mission of West Point Triathlon is to use the sport of triathlon to develop leaders of character by providing a venue to develop cadets' physical prowess, mental fortitude, team-building and commitment to excellence to prepare them for greater leadership responsibilities. Our performance goals are to win national championships, qualify as many cadets as possible for World Championship events, have fun and of course... Beat Navy & Air Force!

The team's success is only made possible by the generous support of our sponsors and independent donors. If you would like to support the team, please contact the team Officer-in-Charge, Dr. Kenneth Allen, at All media requests should also be directed to Dr. Allen.

Become a Team Member

All West Point Triathlon Team members are cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point. In addition to being members of an elite triathlon program, these athletes go through intensive leadership training.

Every graduate of West Point receives both a top-level college education and a commission as an officer in the United States Army. Tuition, books, and living expenses at West Point are paid for by the US Government in exchange for a service commitment of at least five years on Active Duty and three years in the Reserves upon graduation and commissioning as a Second Lieutenant.

If you are a high school student or recent high school graduate interested in attending the United States Military Academy, contact the team officer-in-charge, Dr. Kenneth Allen at

You can also contact the West Point admissions department directly through their website:

If you are already a cadet or cadet candidate, you are highly encouraged to try out for the team. Tryouts take place during the first week of academics in August and will likely consist of a 1,000 yard swim, a 7K run, and an interview. If you would like more information, please contact Team Officer-in-Charge, Dr. Kenneth Allen, at

We hope you will join us!
