Major Ian Riley is a graduate of the University of Maine and Georgia Southern University. He was commissioned as an Engineer Officer through Officer Candidate School in 2009 after serving for 4 years as a Paladin Mechanic and Tracked Vehicle Recovery NCO. He has served in a variety of Engineer Units from Coast to Coast and deployed in support of OIF and OEF, has conducted route clearance and maneuver support, and built Forward Operating Bases. He most recently served as the Deputy Area Engineer for USACE New York District. MAJ Riley is a licensed Professional Engineer and teaches Construction Project Management while also serving as a Strategic Resource Planner on the Superintendent’s Staff.
