Dr. Kevin McMullen, Ph.D. Assistant Professor kevin.mcmullen@westpoint.edu Biography Dr. Kevin F. McMullen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil & Mechanical Engineering at the United States Military Academy. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Dr. McMullen has taught courses in structural mechanics and structural design. His research focus is in the field of structural engineering. Before arriving at the Academy, Dr. McMullen’s research focus was on the evaluation and implementation of innovative materials and technologies for the development of more sustainable and cost-effective solutions for infrastructure challenges. At the Academy, Dr. McMullen has worked with cadets to develop novel designs to improve the blast resistance of structures.
