CPT Kevin Scruggs graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He commissioned into the Engineer Regiment and was assigned to the Fort Richardson, Alaska where he served as a Platoon Leader in the 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne).  Most recently, he commanded an Engineer Company in the 127th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne) in the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division.  CPT Scruggs holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.  Currently he is an instructor for the Infrastructure Engineering course in the Civil Engineering Division.
