Major Connor Halliday is an Instructor of International Affairs in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. Connor received his commission as an Ordnance Officer after graduating from Furman University in 2013. As a Lieutenant, he served as a Maintenance Control Officer and Company Executive Officer in the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. As a Captain, Connor served as the Battalion S3 and Battalion XO for the 25th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team. Connor commanded the Distribution Company in the 25th Brigade Support Battalion. Connor deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in 2019. He received a Master’s in Global Policy Studies from the University of Texas in 2022. Connor is married to Julie and has two kids, Sophie, and James.
