MAJ Daniel Burrow was commissioned as an Aviation second lieutenant in 2012 upon graduation from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. After flight school, he served as the assistant S-3 running Air Mission Requests before starting his platoon leader time. He served as the Forward Support Medical Platoon Leader in Charlie Company, 2-4 General Support Aviation Battalion (MEDEVAC), including a deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon leaving Charlie Company, he became the platoon leader for the Aircraft Component Repair Platoon in Bravo Company, 404 Aviation Support Battalion. After the Aviation Captain's Career Course, CPT Burrow served as the Brigade Aviation Officer in 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division. His last operational duty position was as the Company Commander of Delta Company, 3-1 Assault Helicopter Battalion, an Aviation Maintenance Company. CPT Burrow is a graduate from the Aviation Officer Basic Course, the Aviation Captain's Career Course, UH-60A/L/M Qualification Course, Aviation Maintenance Officer Course, Joint Firepower Course, and Air Assault School.
