Major Dustin A. Thomas received his commission as a 2LT in the Medical Service Corps after graduating as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Physical Education in May 2014. His first assignment was as a Gold Bar Recruiter at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania Fighting Scots ROTC Battalion before going to the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC). Upon graduation of AMEDD BOLC he was stationed at Ft. Campbell Kentucky and served in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) as a Platoon Leader and the Medical Officer for 2-320th Field Artillery Regiment “Balls of the Eagle” and 2-32nd Field Artillery Regiment “Proud Americans”, he served as the Brigade Medical Supply Officer for 1st Brigade Combat Team “Bastogne”, and Executive Officer of Charlie Company “Coldblooded”, 426th Brigade Support Battalion. Following completion of AMEDD Captain's Career Course, MAJ Thomas was assigned to U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Japan (MEDDAC-J) serving as the Chief of Operations followed by Company Command of the MEDDAC-J Detachment Company. Following completion of AMEDD Captain's Career Course, MAJ Thomas was assigned to U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Japan (MEDDAC-J) serving as the Chief of Operations followed by Company Command of the MEDDAC-J Detachment Company. Dustin is married to his beautiful wife, Marie Thomas. They are both from Cleveland, Ohio. Dustin and Marie are the “Fun” uncle and aunt to four nephews David Jr., Deacon, Lucas, and Donovan and five nieces Abby, Carly, Delilah, Peyton, Nicole.
