Dr. Jennifer Irish-Mendez is an Assistant Professor of Spanish for the Department of English & World Languages. She teaches all levels of Spanish language, literature, and culture, and regularly serves as the course director for LS475 – Spanish Reading and Writing Through Media, LS485 – Spanish American Literature, and LS484 – Spanish American Civilization and Culture. Her research interests include contemporary Latin American literature, Hispanic Caribbean novels, diaspora, and identity.
