Biography


Captain (CPT) Bill Choate graduated from the United States Military Academy (USMA) in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Portuguese. He commissioned as an Armor officer and served at Fort Stewart, Georgia, as a Scout Platoon Leader, and then in Europe as the Adjutant to the Brigade Commander of 1st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division. In 2017, CPT Choate became a Civil Affairs officer and deployed to Colombia in 2019 as a Team Leader. CPT Choate earned a Master of Arts degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Florida International University in 2022 and now serves as an Instructor of Portuguese at USMA.
