MAJ Deverill graduated USMA in 2012, commissioning as an Engineer Officer. After the Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course, MAJ Deverill served as a Platoon Leader and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer in the 62nd Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade both at Fort Hood, TX and Liberia in support of Operation United Assistance. Following the Engineer Captain’s Career Course, MAJ Deverill served as the Battalion Operations Officer of the 31st Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He then served as the Company Commander of B Company, 35th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Upon completing company command, MAJ Deverill attended the University of Virginia earning a Master of Science in Systems Engineering. MAJ Deverill currently serves an Instructor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
