Biography
Arthur commissioned into the Ordnance Corps from Illinois State University’s ROTC program with a major in History in 2014, and has worked in maintenance and logistics at the tactical level for most of his Army career. In 2017-2018 he deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan as a NATO maintenance team leader working with US, Romanian, and Bulgarian forces in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. After graduation from the Combined Logistics Captain’s Career Course at Fort Gregg-Adams, then known as Fort Lee, in 2018, he served with the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson where he commanded the Bravo Maintenance Company, 4th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Stryker Brigade from 2019-2021. After command, he earned an MA in History from the University of North Texas and currently serves in the Military Division of the USMA Department of History.
