MAJ Kyle Applegate graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2014 with a BA in History and Political Science. His first assignment after flight school was an Attack Platoon Leader in the 1st Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment in Katterbach, Germany. After Aviation Captains’ Career Course, MAJ Applegate served as the Assistant Brigade Operations Officer in the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade during an Atlantic Resolve rotation before taking command of A Troop, 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield. After command, MAJ Applegate attended graduate school at Georgetown University. He currently serves as in the International Division. He is married to Emily Applegate.
