MAJ Clopton was born in Reno, NV. She enlisted in the Idaho National Guard in 2011 and was commissioned on active duty from the University of Idaho Army ROTC in 2014. After attending AG BOLC in Ft. Jackson, SC, she served for over three years in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Ft. Irwin, CA as a Squadron S1. MAJ Clopton returned to Ft. Jackson for AGCCC before reporting to Joint Task Force-Bravo in Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, where she served as the Army Forces Battalion S1. MAJ Clopton received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 2022. MAJ Clopton's family includes her wife, Amy, their daughters, Isabela and Rosalyn, their two cats, Andromeda and Vivienne, and their dog, Freya.
