Biography
MAJ Amy Lovas is an instructor in the Department of Mathematics at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.
Amy commissioned from the United States Military Academy in 2013 and is an Aviation Officer (15D) with a specialty in aviation maintenance and is qualified in the AH-64D and AH-64E model Apache Helicopter.
Amy’s previous assignments include 7-17 HARS at Fort Hood, TX as a reconnaissance Platoon Leader, 7-17 HARS as an assistant S3 Operations Officer; 404 ASB at Fort Carson, CO as the S3 Operations Officer, deploying the battalion and brigade's logistics support to Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve; 4-4 AB at Fort Carson, CO as the maintenance company commander, deploying to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Amy received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from USMA in 2013 and her M.S. in Data Analytics Engineering from George Mason University in 2023.
