MAJ Michael L. Simms

Major Mike Simms is an Instructor of American Politics at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, where he teaches a course in American Politics. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013 and commissioned as a transportation officer. He spent his Lieutenant years in the 82nd Airborne Division, servings as a Distribution Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Transportation Support Operation Officer. As a Captain he served as a S3 training officer and a Company Commander of the 149th Seaport Operations Company. Mike earned his Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
