CPT Michael Miner is a native of Neenah, Wisconsin. He was commissioned into the Chemical Corps as a Second Lieutenant upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2012. After completion of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC), CPT Miner served as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Assistant Operations Officer at Fort Drum, New York providing Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) support to US Army North. CPT Miner served as the commander of the 45th CBRN Company (Hazard Response) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington once again in support of US Army North and the DCRF. Following company command CPT Miner graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Kinesiology. Michael is married to MAJ Nina Miner. Nina is an instructor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
