WEST POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Military Academy moved up one place in “Best National Liberal Arts Colleges” category and is again rated as one of the nation’s best undergraduate educational institutions according to this year’s U.S. News & World Report.
The 2023 – 2024 Best Colleges Rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report places the U.S. Military Academy No. 3 in Top Public Liberal Arts Colleges and No. 8 in Best National Liberal Arts Colleges. In the Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs category, at schools where a doctorate is not offered, West Point ranks No. 4. Additionally, in the Best in the Specialties category, West Point ranks No. 5 for its civil engineering program, No. 8 in mechanical engineering, No. 12 in electrical engineering.

Shane Reeves. “Our two new program rankings, and overall rankings across six programs, is a testament to West Point’s breadth and depth in learning opportunities. Both in and out of the classroom, our faculty and cadets are applying their knowledge to complex problems to prepare our future officers to innovate and win on the modern battlefield.”
