Welcome to the 38th Annual West
 Point National Meet!
The United States Military Academy Orienteering Club (USMAOC) is
proud to host its 38th Annual National meet from April 22rd-23rd,
2017. We are a top-tier West Point club team that strives for
excellence in academics, physical fitness, military development, and
personal leadership. We look forward to hosting another great
orienteering meet this spring. This year's meet will
have two Classic races: Saturday's Classic will be hosted on
West Point Property on Saturday, and Sunday's will be hosted at
Harriman State Park, home to the World Orienteering Championships
of '93. Those with years of experience will find the unique West
Point terrain to be both enjoyable and challenging, pushing the limits
of navigational skill. Anyone new to the sport is strongly encouraged
to challenge themselves and test both their mental agility and
physical fitness. We offer a variety of course levels for all ages. See
you in the woods! Go Army, Beat Navy!

Saturday Night Dinner ($20)
Saturday night we'll be hosting a catered dinner in historic Barth Hall
overlooking Lake Popolopen, the site of cadet summer training for the last 60
years. A review session for all Saturday courses will be held as well, inviting
the winning competitors to come share their thoughts on their route choices.
Additionally, live musical entertainment will be provided by a guitarist from
the USMA band! Rumor has it that he is preparing a special song for the
orienteering community. Truly this will be a night to remember!
Prizes will be awarded to the overall winners. The winner will be
determined by the lowest total time from the two courses.
      A Meet Tshirt.JPGA Meet tshirt 2.JPG
As you may have noticed when initially registering, we were unable to
make T-shirts or other memorabilia for the meet available for order. This
was due to concerns of branding issues regarding the West Point logo,
preventing our issue of T-shirts last year. However, the situation just
changed and we finally got approval to make T-shirts available for order.
Represent the orienteering community with a brand new T-shirt
commemorating the West Point orienteering tradition! The new design
features old and new USMAOC logos on a charcoal grey long-sleeve T,
made from 100% Gildan Ultra Cotton!
However, ordering will only be available for a limited time. After April
2nd, this premium orienteering T-shirt will no longer be available. Don’t
miss out on this great opportunity to get a limited edition piece of unique
 Orienteering gear!
All information can be found at the ordering site which is linked below.
Remember ordering closes SOON!!
