On a weekend where Army West Point football plays one of its biggest games of the season, about 1,300 families make the trip to West Point to spend a few precious moments with their beloved cadets. Click on the following links to view the schedule for this year's activities.

Parent Welcome Stop– tent at north end of Thayer Walk
Please stop for maps, information and refreshments

7 a.m.-9 p.m.

Jefferson Hall (Library) open– Visitors must have visitor ID or escort for entry.

7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Academy Stores – Thayer Hall – 4th floor-escort required– enter at the north end of Thayer Hall

7:45 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Cadet Uniform Factory tours - Classes 2024 and 2025

8 a.m.-3 p.m.

Self-guided– “Q-West Point” – find landmarks around the grounds of West Point. Pick up your check sheet at Parent Welcome tent– this activity is intended for younger siblings– complete the Qwest and get a small prize

9 a.m.-11 a.m.

Library Information Sessions- Jefferson Hall - Rm 401 Sessions will begin on the hour and will last about 35 - 40 minutes. Sessions will highlight library services available to cadets.

Also, an associated display of archival materials from the Library’s Archives and Special Collections reflecting cadet life (USCC activities, sports/recreation, and academic pursuits) through the years will be available.

Center for Enhanced Performance open house – Jefferson Library, 1st floor
West Point’s Center for Enhanced Performance (CEP) offers multiple courses and individualized instruction aimed at enhancing cadet performance across all programs, including character, physical, academic, and military. The CEP, comprised of three programs (Academic Excellence, Athletic Academic Support, and Performance Psychology), takes a holistic approach to cadet development, bridging the gap between cadets’ past experiences and college expectations as we help them make the transition to USMA

9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.

Simulation Center Tours and demonstration – Washington Hall – escort required-groups will depart from the sandwich board near Pershing Barracks and Grant Hall every 15 minutes beginning at 9:10 a.m

9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Army West Point Athletics Hall of Fame Tours – Kimsey Center-please take the shuttle to drop off point near Kimsey and Holleder Center

9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Self-tours at West Point Cemetery (Handouts will be provided)
