Cortlin joined the Physics and Nuclear Engineering Information Technology (PaNE IT) team in the summer of 2020. As an IT lab specialist, he supports instructors and staff by troubleshooting IT problems as well as implementing new solutions. He also served six years part-time in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. During his time in the National Guard, he trained as a Fire Control Specialist (13J) for the 1/107th Field Artillery and supported State Active Duty missions for disaster response.
