Biography
CPT Dana L. Tritone was born and raised in Mobile, AL. She attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics in 2014.
She commissioned as an Engineer Officer with her first unit of assignment being the 326th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, KY. She served in various staff positions in the battalion and then became the Platoon Leader for the Sapper Platoon in Bravo Company.
Her next assignment took her to Fort Leonard Wood, MO where she served as the Speechwriter to the Commanding General of the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence. She then took command of Delta Company, 554th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade, where she commanded an advanced individual training company for horizontal construction equipment operators and repairers.
After successfully completing company command, she went on to earn a Master of Science degree in physics in 2022 from the City University of New York. She is currently serving as an instructor in the Physics and Nuclear Engineering Department at the United States Military Academy.
CPT Tritone is also a graduate of the Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course, the Engineer Captain’s Career Course, Airborne School, and Air Assault School.
She is married to CPT Nicholas Tritone and they have a daughter, Anna.
