Dr. Daniel Schultz Supervisory Physicist daniel.schultz@westpoint.edu Biography Dr. Schultz graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with BSs in Physics and Astronomy and was commissioned as a 2LT in the Army Reserves in 1988. He then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned an MS in Physics in 1990 and a PhD in Space Physics in 1993, and then entered active duty as a maintenance management officer. He deployed to Haiti with the 2nd ACR in 1995. He was an assistant professor of Physics at West Point from 1998 to 2003 when he left the active Army to become the Director of Introductory Laboratories at Case Western Reserve University. While there, he was mobilized and deployed to Afghanistan. He has been the Supervisory Physicist in the Department since 2006. He became a Certified Health Physicist in 2014.
