LTC Mark Haseman is in his second tour as an instructor with the Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering.  He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics.  He commissioned as an Engineer Officer and served as a platoon leader and company executive officer with the 27th Engineer Battalion (Combat)(Airborne) at Fort Liberty, NC.  Following the Engineer Captain’s Career Course, he served as the company commander for the combat engineer company in the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, KS. Following his first rotation as an instructor at USMA, he became a Functional Area 52 Officer and served as a member of the Nuclear Weapons Effects Analysis team, J5N9, for USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE.
