XH415 Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing
Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing is a multi-disciplinary course administered through the Resnick Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies. It is a multi-disciplinary attempt to understand the dynamics that produce mass atrocity. Cadets will learn of the causes, course, and consequences of selected genocides, examining the processes that led to genocide, with a particular focus on the roles played by militaries.
XH405 The Holocaust and Its Legacy
The Holocaust and Its Legacy is a multi-disciplinary course administered through the Resnick Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies. The Holocaust and its aftermath make enormous demands on us not just emotionally, but intellectually, requiring that we consider it from historical, military, psychological, philosophical, political, scientific, representational, and legal perspectives.
HI463 Race, Ethnicity, and Nation
This course examines thematic ideas critical to understanding how groups identify comprehension of what the concepts of “ethnic,” “racial,” “national,” and gendered identities are, theories of how and when they emerged, and how they intersect or break down.
