MAJ Stijn Henken Assistant Professor Exchange Officer (Royal Netherlands Air Force) Law and Philosophy stijn.henken [at] westpoint.edu About Education MAJ Stijn Henken is a legal advisor in the Royal Netherlands Air Force and a 2011 graduate of the Royal Military Academy in Breda. After his commission in the Air Force, he served as an Air Battle Manager at “Bandbox” Air Control Squadron between 2011 and 2020, also holding a position as an instructor. After completing his law study in 2017, for which he received an LL.M. from Amsterdam Law School, he transitioned into the Air Force Legal Services. MAJ Henken previously served as a legal advisor at NATO’s Combined Air Operations Centre in Uedem, Germany. In 2022, he was deployed to Bamako, Mali, as part of the United Nations' mission MINUSMA as Chief of Staff of the 1 (NLD) C-130 detachment.
