Biography


MAJ Fallon M. Hayes currently serves as the Charlie Company Tactical Officer at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School. 

Fallon is a native of Miami, Florida born on December 12, 1985. She began her military service at Fort Leonard Wood, MO in 2009. She served as an enlisted Soldier for three years in the United States Army Reserve. 

During her time in the Army Reserve, MAJ Hayes contracted as an ROTC cadet in the combined Auburn/Troy University ROTC program, where she received her commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Chemical Corps but has since voluntary transferred into a functional area as an  Army Force Manager (FA50). 

After commissioning, she began the Officer Basic Course at Fort Leonard Wood, MO in February 2012. Upon completion, MAJ Hayes was assigned to the 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade at Fort Hood, TX. She served as the HHB Executive Officer before PCSing to Fort Stewart, GA in 2014. MAJ Hayes was assigned to 31D, 1- 76 Field Artillery Battalion, whom later re-flagged as 1-9 Field Artillery where she served as the CBRN Officer for 24 months. MAJ Hayes’ follow on assignments included Brigade Chemical Officer and Assistant S3 at 3ID, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade on Hunter Army Airfield, in Savannah, GA and the Plans Officer in 48th Chemical Brigade for five months before taking command of HHC Company, 48th CM BDE, in Fort Hood, TX. MAJ Hayes relinquished command in May 2020. Directly following Command MAJ Hayes was selected to join the Eisenhower Leader Development Program’s 16th Cohort. MAJ Hayes has also served as the Alpha Company, 2nd Regiment Tactical Officer and the 2nd Regiment Executive Officer at the United States Military Academy.

MAJ Hayes education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Alabama State University, a Master of Arts and Sciences from Troy University and a Master’s in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University in the City of New York. Fallon is currently a Doctoral Student of Organizational Psychology and Leadership at Vanderbilt University with an expect completion date of July 2024. 

MAJ Hayes authored and published a children’s novel released in 2018. 

MAJ Hayes has a passion for writing and organizational design. She is the mother of two daughters Abrielle (10 years old) and Anilah (8 years old). Her mother Cathy resides with her as a physical support system for her and her daughters.
