Biography


Major Nickolas M. Lewis first enlisted in the military as an 88M in September of 2002 out of Los Angeles, California. After eight years of enlisted service, MAJ Lewis attended Officer Candidate School in 2010 and was commissioned as an officer in the transportation corps. Following Transportation Basic Officer Leaders Course, he was assigned to the 6th Engineer Battalion (CBT)(ABN), Forward Support Company at Ft. Richardson, AK serving as a maintenance platoon leader and executive officer. Following completion of the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course, MAJ Lewis was assigned to 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, Ft Irwin, CA serving as the Regimental Supply Officer and the S4 for the Regimental Support Squadron. At the conclusion of his tenure with the 11th ACR, MAJ Lewis assumed command of 2nd Combat HET Company also located at Ft. Irwin, CA. Upon completing 23 months of command, MAJ assumed command of Headquarters, Headquarters Detachment, 840th Transportation Battalion located in Ash Shuaibah, Kuwait. Upon completion of his second command, MAJ Lewis was assigned as the G4 for The Judge Advocate Generals Legal Center and School located in Charlottesville, VA. Following completion of his tour as the G4, MAJ Lewis was selected for the Eisenhower Leadership Development Program and was appointed a position at the United States Military Academy where he served as the Tactical Officer for Company H, 4th Regiment. MAJ Lewis currently serves as a Tactical Officer for A. Co, United States Military Academy Preparatory School. MAJ Lewis is married to Mrs. Heather Lewis and has four children (Andria 18, Marcus 16, Nick Jr 12, and Taquan 4).
