Vincent grew up around the Twin Cities in Minnesota where he was involved in football and track. He enrolled at West Point in 2008, received his Bachelor of Science degree in History, and commissioned in the infantry in 2012. He served as commander of a rifle company in 3rd Brigade (Rakkasans), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and as a platoon leader and company executive officer in the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, CO. Upon selection to teach in the Department of Social Sciences, Vince and his family moved back to Minnesota to complete his MBA at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. He is married to Katie, and they have three children: Isabelle, George, and William. Vince and Katie like to volunteer their time with the Girl Scouts and coaching their children in little league soccer and hockey.
