Guided Tours of Historic West Point Please note: Foreign nationals without a qualified escort may only access West Point by taking a West Point tour. U.S. Citizens: All visitors age 17 and older signing up to take a bus tour of West Point MUST provide valid photo identification such as; a current valid driver's license or passport, or school ID (must be school-age). Each individual, age 17 and older, must present their own form of identification. No tour guide may bring in ID bundles for the group. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Acceptable alternate forms of identification are a U.S. passport, a permanent resident card/Alien Registration Receipt (form 1-551), a foreign passport with a temporary I-551 stamp or visa or an employment authorization document that contains a photograph (Form I-766). The West Point Band The West Point Band is the Army’s oldest musical organization and continues to provide world-class music to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets and to serve as ambassadors of the United States Military Academy and the Army to local, national, and international communities. The West Point Museum Since 1843, the mission of the West Point Museum has been to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret historically significant artifacts and stimulate interest in the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Army and the Profession of Arms. The West Point Museum also supplements academic, cultural and military instruction and provides educational programs and services for Cadets, the military and civilian personnel. The museum offers a taste of the over 60,000 Army historical artifacts that inspire and educate the U.S. Corps of Cadets on a daily basis. The holdings of the West Point Museum are displayed not only within the Museum’s walls at Pershing Center, but throughout the United States Military Academy at West Point’s buildings and grounds.
