CPT Zachary Depp commissioned as a 2LT Signal Corps officer in 2014 through the United States Military Academy. He served as the Main Command Post platoon leader in the Division Signal Company in 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and then as the Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion S-6. He finished his time in 25ID as a network officer in the Division G-6. He became a Functional Area 26A, Network Engineer in 2018, and was assigned as the 10th Mountain Division (LI) G-6 network engineer at Fort Drum, New York. He deployed with 10MTN in 2020 to Afghanistan in support of NATO's Resolute Support mission as the US Forces Afghanistan J-6 Network Engineer. After leaving Fort Drum, he earned his M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, and is now an Instructor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at USMA. He lives with his wife Maggie, daughter Reagan, and their cat Luna.
