Dr. Aaron Phipps, Ph.D.

Dr. Aaron Phipps is an associate professor and Leadership Economics course director for the Department of Social Sciences at West Point. He is interested in understanding and improving workforce preparation and performance. 

He received his doctorate in economics from the University of Virginia in 2018 and has taught introductory economics, economics of education, intermediate macroeconomics and leadership economics.

Dr. Phipps' research explores how policies can develop skills, enhance worker performance and clarify the impact of individual choices on these outcomes.
