West Point is home to 25 Division I sports for both men and women. If you would like to be considered for recruitment, then you should follow the link below and fill out the coach's questionnaire under the "Recruiting" tab for your respective sport.
If you have not yet been contacted by one of our coaches, then this is the first step in your application process. Of note, you will have to contact the coaches for Men's Football and Men's Ice Hockey directly via email or phone. All others can proceed to the Coach's Questionnaire .
Additionally, you should go to the Admissions main webpage to read more about the application process and life at the Academy. The first step in the admissions process will be completing the Candidate Questionnaire (open to all candidates starting in January of their junior year in high school). Based on the information given in the questionnaire you may see a change in your file status as early as July prior to entering your senior year in high school. If your file is competitive for consideration to the Academy, you will be given the opportunity to complete the application process regardless of recruitment in your sport.
Remember to read all instructions carefully throughout the application process by referencing the "Application Instructions" document available through your candidate portal.
Lastly, remember that the West Point application and Congressional nomination are two separate processes that have independent timelines. Make sure you start your West Point application first and then contact your local Congressional offices for more information.
Thanks again for your interest in Army Athletics and more importantly becoming an Army Officer.
