Alicia grew up playing volleyball competitively in Littleton, Colorado, which eventually led her to playing at the NCAA D1-level with the Black Knights from 2009-2013. She commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the Ordnance Corps. Alicia previously led Soldiers in sustainment, armor, and Army space units with an overseas assignment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Her academic interests include INDOPACOM geopolitics and socioeconomics, environmental, social, and governance principles, sustainment resilience, and space policy. Alicia enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her rescued Great Pyrenees mix, Atlas.
