Amy McNally was hired as an athletic academic support coordinator in the Center for Enhanced Performance (CEP) in May 2024. Prior to arriving at West Point, McNally spent four years at St. Francis University in Loretto, PA, where she was the women’s lacrosse assistant coach (2020-21). In August 2021, she moved to an athletic-academic advising role in the Office for Student-Athlete Development and Academic Services. She served as the assistant director for Student-Athlete Development and Academic services (2021-23). In August 2023, she was promoted to associate director of SADAS (2023-24).
At St. Francis University, McNally advised 10 Olympic teams as well as stood as a co-advisor for football. McNally aided in student-athlete development by overseeing the Student-Athlete Mentorship (SAM)and the Apple Leadership Team (ALT) programs. She taught the Freshman Student-Athlete Experience course which highlighted how to successfully enhance freshman student-athlete skills and knowledge in the areas of academic success, personal wellness, and career exploration (2021-23). She holds a Master of Education degree with a focus as a certified reading specialist in the State of Pennsylvania from St. Francis University. McNally earned a Bachelor of Arts in education from Niagara University where she was a member of the lacrosse team (2015-19) in the MAAC conference. McNally is a native of Suffern, NY.
