CPT Andrew DeFabio is from Stockton, CA, and earned a BS in environmental engineering from the United States Military Academy in 2014. He also earned an MA in international relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2020 and an MA in history from San Jose State University in 2023. CPT DeFabio is a career Air Defense Artillery Officer, and his first assignment was at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. While in Korea, CPT DeFabio served as a Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Brigade Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officer. After attending Air Defense Captain’s Career Course, CPT DeFabio was forward stationed in Baumholder, Germany with 5-7 ADA Battalion. While in Germany, CPT DeFabio served as the Assistant S3 and Commanded C/5-7 ADA. While in Command, he participated in multi-national and NATO exercises focused on interoperability and deployment readiness. His most recent assignment was Current Operations Officer at 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He currently instructs in the American History Division at the United States Military Academy.
